A Message From Thabow

In the beginning, there were the Founders. In time, there were the first staff. For a time, everything was good. Old staff died off, and new staff were appointed by the old. Everything was good again. Then there was conflict, and to prove that the right people were in charge, our first elections were held. And so has it been since.

But to be honest, even though there have been titled staff positions since the begigning, the roles and responsibilities associated with running the club have always been shared equally. That's why the retiring staff have decided that this year a council of seven, all who meet the same requirements, will be elected.
Once these seven are elected by the club, they will choose the next leader amongst them.

To submit yourself for staff, please send me the following, via private message:

• Your name and callsign
• A short bio on who you are
• Tenure with the club
• What skills you bring to the table

Submissions must be in by October 15th, 2020.

Disclaimer: as the guy who has been doing this the longest, mark my words when I say that this is a job like any other, with responsibilities and people who rely on you. Airsoft events don't just happen, and if you're going to be part of the future of this club, then you need to treat it as such.

On a personal note, sadly, because of personal reasons, I will not be running for re-election this year. I cannot commit to the club at the level I have in the past due to real life situations. Therefore, I have decided to step back. Yes I will still be around, just not in the same capacity.
